This year marks the 300th year anniversary of my elementary school that today bears the name of King Peter The First. In my time, when I was a pupil it was called Ribara Brothers.
This year also marks my 50th anniversary since I graduated 8th grade from there. Due to this special occasion I’ve been able to find twenty-five people from my class.
Most of my classmates wrote songs and transcribed their stories of that time in 1964 into a book called Spominar, when we were in fourth grade.
Every page of that book reminds me of something that happened to us in those days.
My greatest joy came when I met up with my friends, after 50 years, and showed them the pages that they filled with their handwriting so long ago.
Each page, each verse, each drawing is a wonderful testimony that leaves a mark on our souls and lives.
